1. Who we are

FileAds.com ("FileAds", "we") operates a file-download monetization network connecting publishers and advertisers. This policy covers data processed via fileads.com, our publisher dashboard, and the placements we serve on publisher properties (where we act as processor of the publisher's users' data under publisher instructions).

2. Data we process

• Business contacts: names, emails and application details from publishers and advertisers. Application forms open your mail client; the website stores no submissions.
• Placement data (as processor): pseudonymized click identifiers, truncated IPs (last octet removed where consent requires), device/OS class, coarse geo (country/region), consent-string state, and event outcomes (view, click, install). No raw PII, no precise location, no address book or contact data.
• Account data: dashboard logins, payout details (processed by our payment providers), and tax information where required by law.
• Site telemetry: security logs kept 90 days. This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Purposes & legal bases

• Operating the network and matching demand to placements — contract performance / legitimate interest.
• Fraud prevention and traffic quality — legitimate interest.
• Payouts and invoicing — contract and legal obligation.
• Personalized offers — only where a valid TCF v2.2 consent string or equivalent signal is present; otherwise contextual, non-personalized delivery.

4. What we never do

• We do not sell personal data to third parties.
• We do not serve or accept malware; all demand is statically and dynamically scanned.
• We do not re-identify individuals from placement data or join it with sensitive categories.
• We do not process children's data; publishers warrant their audiences per our terms.

5. Recipients & transfers

Ad partners and demand sources (per campaign), cloud infrastructure (EU/US), and payout providers. Transfers outside the EEA use EU Standard Contractual Clauses plus supplementary technical measures. Sub-processor list: privacy@fileads.com.

6. Retention

Event-level placement data: 30 days raw, 13 months aggregated. Business contact and payout records: statutory retention (typically 7 years under Dutch tax law). Security logs: 90 days.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (and analogous laws such as CCPA/CPRA — note we do not sell or share personal information as defined there), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. End-users of publisher sites should contact the site operator first, as they are the controller; we assist them without undue delay. Direct requests: privacy@fileads.com. You may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (NL) or your local DPA.

8. Security

TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest, least-privilege access, quarterly access reviews, and continuous scanning of demand creative. Vulnerability disclosures: security@fileads.com.
